Automotive Cooling Solution

The function of the car cooling system is to keep the car within the proper temperature range under all operating conditions. The cooling system of the car is divided into air-cooled and water-cooled. The air-cooled system is called the air-cooled system, and the water-cooled system is called the coolant-cooled system. Generally, the water cooling system is composed of water pump, radiator, cooling fan, thermostat, compensation bucket, engine block, water jacket in the cylinder head and other accessories. Among them, the radiator is responsible for the cooling of the circulating water. Its water pipes and heat sinks are mostly made of aluminum. The aluminum water pipes are made into a flat shape, and the heat sink is corrugated. The wind resistance should be small and the cooling efficiency should be high. Coolant flows inside the radiator core and air passes outside the radiator core. The hot coolant cools by dissipating heat to the air, and the cold air heats up by absorbing the heat dissipated by the coolant, so the radiator is a heat exchanger.
Automobile radiator is an indispensable and important part in the cooling system of automobile water-cooled engine, and it is developing in the direction of light weight, high efficiency and economy. The car radiator structure is also constantly adapted to new developments.
The core of the tube-fin radiator is composed of many thin cooling tubes and cooling fins. Most of the cooling tubes adopt oblate cross-sections to reduce air resistance and increase heat transfer area.
The radiator core should have a sufficient flow area to allow the coolant to pass through, and it should also have a sufficient air flow area to allow sufficient air to pass through to remove the heat from the coolant to the radiator. At the same time, it must have enough heat dissipation area to complete the heat exchange between coolant, air and heat sink.
The tube-belt radiator is welded by corrugated heat-dissipating belts and cooling tubes arranged alternately.
Compared with the tube-fin radiator, the tube-band radiator can increase the heat dissipation area by about 12% under the same conditions. In addition, there are holes similar to louvers that disturb the air flow on the heat dissipation strip to destroy the flowing air on the surface of the heat dissipation strip. Adhesive layer on top to improve heat dissipation.
